Nursery Care Worker
We are searching for a dedicated and caring nursery worker to allow parents the chance to worship knowing their child(ren) are safe. 

Nursery care is available during Sunday School at 9:30am and Worship at 10:30am. The number of children will range from one to six. If we have more than five children, we will provide extra assistance. The ages of the children are from 0-3 years old. 

Qualifications required:
​- High School graduate​
- Background checks
- Minimum 2 years of experience caring for children from ages 0-4 years old.
- CPR Certified (Preferred)
- Demonstrate knowledge of child development (Preferred)
- Demonstrate a genuine concern for children

Wage: $45-50 per Sunday
Hours: 9:15am - 11:45am

Pastor
We are searching for a full-time Pastor. Our complete MDP is available on the Presbyterian Church (USA) CLC website
 
Riverdale is a vibrant intergenerational church; we value our seniors as well as our children and families. Our children and youth make up 25% of our congregation and we desire to hire a pastor who will continue to focus on family programming. We seek a candidate who can create learning opportunities and design lessons that teach concepts, facts, and theology. A firm knowledge and belief in scripture must be the fundamental basis of the ministry.
We desire an energetic worship leader who can inspire from the pulpit and communicate a clear and consistent message, presented in a contemporary format. Someone whose heart is centered on the Lord, can bring out the best in other people and can help them explore their callings and spiritual gifts. 
We seek a pastor who is empathic, humble, not afraid to lead in challenging situations and who is adaptable with strong organizational skills. A successful applicant will be a good listener, compassionate and skilled in motivation. It is important for our pastor to provide pastoral care and serve the needs of the congregation with home and hospital visits along with a strong emphasis on counseling which may include marital and family, medical and emotional, and end of life.
 
Tasks, expectations, duties, supervision, assignments, and responsibilities for the position
  • Serve as Head of Staff overseeing the Christian Education Director, Director of Music Ministry, and the Office Administrator. Liaison to Pumpkin Patch Preschool and Boy Scouts of America
  • Attend Deacon meetings as requested and serve as advisor to committees as necessary.
  • Create, direct, and oversee the various worship services of the church, providing strong Biblically based inspirational preaching of God’s Word.
  • Provide strategic leadership and vision to the congregation, to session and staff to spread God’s Word and foster welcoming Christian relationships of congregants and visitors.
  • Involve active and inactive members, congregants, and visitors in the life of the Church.
  • Support youth programs and adult bible studies, hold new member classes and visit members in need.
  • Covenant with the leadership to uphold the bylaws and adhere to financial policies and procedures.
