Nursery Worker
Help us provide a safe, caring environment for Riverdale’s youngest children.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Riverdale Presbyterian Church is seeking a caring and dependable Nursery Worker to provide a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for children ages 0–3 during Sunday School and worship.
KEY RESPONSIBILIES

Provide safe, attentive, and age-appropriate care for children ages 0–3

Engage children through play, stories, games, and prayer

Assist with feeding, diaper changes, bathroom needs, and naps as needed
-
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming nursery environment

Ensure children are released only to an approved parent or responsible adult
-
Communicate with parents, volunteers, and church staff as needed
-
Provide advance notice of absences or lateness whenever possible
QUALIFICATIONS

At least 18 years old and a high school graduate

At least two years of experience caring for children ages 0–3
-
Background clearances required; Riverdale can assist with obtaining them
-
Friendly, dependable, patient, and comfortable caring for young children​​

Preferred: CPR certification and knowledge of child development
