Dr. Frank Novasack's explanation of this tribute:

The three officers - Eric Kelly, Stephen Mayhle and Paul Sciullo II, were killed on   4-4-09.  I wrote this piece (actually cowrote with Al Snyder) on 4-5-09 and recorded and submitted it all on 4-7-09 and it was played at the Peterson Events Center at the Memorial Service on 4-9-2009.  Here are the lyrics (words and music - Frank Novasack, Jr. & Al Snyder; vocal by Al Snyder; mixed and produced at Albey Road Studio - copyright - 2009).

“They were just humble people - humble servants of the law; There for the rescue - heroes to us all.  They were men doing battle and then they took the fall; They gave their lives for us this day - Eric, Steve and Paul.  So we thank you, yes we thank you and we thank God for you all - for each and every one of you like Eric Steve and Paul;  Yes we thank you - Yes we thank you and we thank God for you all - for each and every officer like Eric Steve and Paul.”
