Pastor Allan to take a Trip to the Holy Land! May 24 - June 6
Dear Friends,
I have desired to take a trip to Israel and walk where Jesus walked, since becoming a Pastor. Every year, as required by our denomination, your gracious financial contract with me includes 2 weeks of Study Leave and $1500.00 for trips or conferences, whatever will help make me a better person, a better pastor for you! I have not taken such a trip for over 3 years because I did not want to cause excessive burden for my wife Jennifer. With funds in place and an encouragement from our personnel committee to do some things to deepen my faith, I decided now was the time to consider such a trip!
I will be touring the Holy Land for nearly two weeks with a Church out of Kansas City, Missouri. They are taking several people. (25 or 30 persons) In Israel we will be instructed and led by a ministry that has been doing Biblical Tours for nearly 30 years so I think I’ll be in able hands!
I feel humbled, honored, and privileged to be able to take such a trip when many people cannot afford such an experience. I thank you for your goodness to me and my family.
I am hoping to upload little videos every so many days to our website so you can see what I’m up to! I’m researching the technology for that now! I have posted some information about this upcoming tour on our website if you’d like to read more about it!
